GORDON MCINTYRE MBE

FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN

Gordon is the founder of Hospitality Health, he was awarded an MBE in the Kings New Years Honours in 2024.

Gordon has been involved in delivering and managing education and training for over 30 years. A graduate of the Glasgow College of Food Technology, and GCU, is now Associate Dean for Hospitality & Tourism at City of Glasgow College. Gordon values training & development opportunities at all levels for staff.  During his time in education, Gordon has continued to have strong links with industry, in the Hospitality, Events and Tourism sector.

A people person and the winner of the CIS Education Excellence Award in 2016, The HIT Industry award in 2018 and shortlisted as a Caterer.com People Award Ambassador in 2018. Gordon has seen how the industry has had an effect on staff and feels that now more than ever, support is required, to allow them to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It is hoped that Hospitality Health will make a difference to the lives those involved in the industry.
